We are living in a time where we all want a change in our society. All of us know that the rules of the society has become a cliche and all of them needs to be changed as soon as possible. But we don’t initiate the change ourselves. We keep on putting responsibilities on others by saying “Arey wo karega na…Arey ye karega na”(He will do it. Someone else will do it). One of the readers of Laughter Mania, Abhishek Pandey, decided to contribute an article on the same. That how the society behaves when someone wants to do something new and the cliche thoughts of the society. This is how his article reads :
Our society often thinks that the best age to be successful is between 24 and 40. And that, once you reach the age of 50, your life is pretty much over. Or before 24, you can’t do great things,i.e., you can’t achieve success. But if it is so :
#1. Sachin Tendulkar would not have started playing international cricket at the age of 16.
#2. Pele, the Brazilian Soccer Superstar would not have won the football world cup at the age of 17.
#3. Mark Zuckerberg might not have launched world’s most famous social networking site at the age of 19.
#4. Justin Bieber would not have become the millionaire at the age of 14 and become one of the most famous singers.
#5. Arunima Sinha would not have become the first female Amputee and the first Indian Amputee to reach the summit of Everest at the age of 23.
#6. Malala Yousafzai would not have recieved the Nobel Peace Prize at the age of 17.
#7. Dipa Karmakar would not have been able to participate in Olympic and become first Indian Gymnast to participate in Olympic.
All these are big examples and a slap on the faces of those who think there is a border of age for success. Next time someone says anything like that you people need to show that person this article and let him open their eyes. Otherwise these people from the society are the ones who are rotting the society internally. Even we need to set more examples by succeeding much before that.
